Journaling my Journey

...being confident in this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. ~ Philippians 1:6

When the blog I use to update out of town family and friends on the coming and growings of our family started to read more like a personal journal, I realized I might need to make some room for my personal ramblings.

The plain truth of the matter is that right now I am struggling...with the challenge of mothering three kids, with weight loss and exercise, with feeding my family healthy food, with my husband's job, our financial situation, balancing all the elements of our life, PCOS, and now postpartum depression.

I think about who I am and who I want to be, and I praise God that he is not finished with me. Things are very difficult in my little heart right now, and I want to write about it. It is cathartic for me to get my thoughts out there, and perhaps there are others who will take comfort in knowing that I struggle with things too. Sometimes sharing struggles makes them smaller.

So that's what this blog is for. A record of the personal journey God has me on, dealing with all the stuff of life and finishing the good work he began in me.
